Community Educator

POSITION TITLE: Community Educator SALARY RANGE: $48,000 - $52,000 annually REPORTS TO: Manager of Youth Services FLSA STATUS: Full time, non-exempt GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Community Educator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing prevention education programs to increase awareness of child abuse and other threats to child safety in our community. The program’s goal is to raise awareness of the prevalence and consequences of child abuse by educating the community, including school age children, about the steps they can take to recognize and prevent child abuse. This position works directly with a wide array of community members and youth serving organizations, including professionals, adults, and children.
