IT Compliance - What Can Nonprofits Do To Stay Compliant and Secure?

Date Event has ended

91% of cyberattacks start with an email and cybercriminals are only getting more and more sophisticated.

IT Compliance is a relatively new concern for many nonprofits.  Until recently, budgets were focused on getting the technology needed to deliver programs.  Maintaining systems and securing the data was often an afterthought.  Fast forward to 2021 and nonprofits must bring this to the forefront. Open the news and you’re guaranteed to hear about another breach – nationally as well as locally (with the Victor School System breach hitting home).  So, what can a nonprofit do to secure their data and how does IT compliance fit in?

HIPAA, DSS, FINRA, PCI-DSS, NIST are all designed to help protect sensitive data and minimize the risk of a breach. This webinar will highlight how IT compliance regulations pertain to running a nonprofit. Identify and learn what you need to do - both to remain complaint and to exercise best practices for keeping employees, members/donors, and business data secure.

Speaker:  Cheryl Nelan, Owner and President of CMIT Solutions of Monroe
