Welcome

The Council of Agency Executives is an alliance of chief executives of non-profit, human-service agencies serving Monroe County, New York.  Established in 1998, the Council seeks continually to improve the human services in Monroe County.

Membership with the COAE is limited to the Chief Executive Officer or Executive Director (senior paid staff member) of a not-for-profit human services agency that:

· Holds a 501(c)(3) tax exempt certification, and

· has at least one paid staff, and

· offers services in Monroe County. 

For regional agencies based outside Monroe County, the member will be the agency’s highest ranking staff person in Monroe County.

¨ Pay annual membership dues

 

Recommendations to Members

¨ Participate in bi-monthly Council meetings

¨ Take advantage of Roundtables and other special programs

¨ Join a standing committee or task group; get involved

¨ Get to know other members; their collective knowledge and experience are priceless.
